✍️CHAPTER TITLE ✍️: THE PARTY (1).
“Are you sure that this is the palace?” Damien stared uncomfortably around the premises while loosening up his back comfortably on the car seat. He is not interested in all this!
“Would I have brought you here if this isn’t the palace? Does this place looks like a modeling place?” Caleb intentionally snapped at him.
Damien might be crazy but Caleb isn’t anywhere closer to being calm. He’s also harsh but the sanity of keeping his cold self to himself never departed unlike Damien, he never misses a moment to generalize his coldness towards everyone.
However, they’ve been friends for many years and along the year, no one else can know this usual cold side of Damien than Caleb. Even Annabel doesn’t know what Damien has become during the year.
If by reason the question is asked about how Damien’s coldness commenced, Caleb sometimes realizes that he should have taken things easy with himself, but on giving it a second thought, the all-female gender is worthy of the hatred Damien throws towards their kind.
“Drive inside the compound properly and stop only at a car won’t be allowed anymore!” Damien instructed, his eyes spared Caleb who was grinning innocently at him with an evil glare, the sight of Caleb grinning irritated him a lot!
Damien came down from the car after the door had been opened for him, grumpily sauntering to the front part of the car where he collided with Caleb.
Damien knew attention will be created at the dinner party, to avoid lots of attention from fans or journalists, he dressed so unusually.
He dressed himself up in black crazy jeans trousers, and a grey hoodie which matches his eye color, then he rounded it all off by wearing just simple white sneakers which makes his appearance fitted enough.
Presently Damien looks nothing less than a young handsome- model, he’s a model after all, but tonight, his look was quite charming. Damien is a god on earth tonight!.
*Flashback*
“Why will you dress like this to a party! You ain’t a thug!” Caleb scolded after Damien appeared his present when he sat down to go through the internet.
“Was I to dress like the king? Since my father is the king!?” He answered back rudely.
The anger of Annabel forcing him to the party is still boiling in him and as if that isn’t enough, he needs to come out here and receive bad remarks about his wear from Caleb. Who sent him errand!?
“But you look nothing less than a thug!” Caleb inserted his phone into his pocket then he halted closer to Damien, checking out his mode of dressing, Damien sure resemble a thug.
However, the glare Damien threw at Caleb made him stop trying to move closer to him as it strictly indicated for Caleb to stay away from his annoyance.
“I wouldn’t have had to go if it wasn’t for your madness!” Damien blurted out coldly.
“All you needed to do was tell Annabel, No!” Caleb responded with a slight shrug.
“Did she give me any other reason? If only you decided to go by yourself when I told you to!” Damien grumbled.
One thing when he’s speaking with Caleb, it’s not all needed to act cold, after all the only time he chooses to be cold often is when it involves a woman’s discussion. He hates the hearing of it to his bone marrow! Womankind!
“Now you will have to take pictures with the princesses!” Caleb made fun of.
“Yeah… All applaud you, tell me why that man gave birth to two daughters?” Damien murmured clearly to him, his teeth never stopped grinding on each other.
“I will make it a priority to ask the king the answer during the meeting,” Caleb replied sarcastically and this time around, Damien was forced to chuckle😄 at his silly joke.
“Can’t a photo design be done? Like framing our pictures together with the princess? You know I can’t do that!” Damien discussed while they both head outside the house. Caleb’s eyes didn’t leave Damien’s body for a second, his dressing would make him chuckle from time to time, what the heck is this!? Is Damien completely sane?
“Annabel is my little lizard, I will never agree to cheat on her,” Caleb answered back truly. Damien leaned his back against the car instead of entering and in a loud voice he shouted.

“I will kill you Caleb if Annabel forbid me from seeing her!!” Caleb laughed😂😂 heartily, his eyes examined the guards that were around them, he wanted to say more or at least reply to Damien, but to avoid creating silly scenes in their presence, he choose to enter the car instead of replying.
After all, it’s only Damien that doesn’t care about who heard what he says or not, however, Caleb cares so much about his dignity in the presence of the workers and that is why he isn’t giving Damien any answer, for now!
After Damien joined him in the car grumpily, Caleb instructed the driver to take off.
Two different cars were driving behind them, his eyes took a glimpse at Damien who already shut his eyes and rested his head on his seat.
He can’t wait to see the drama that will unfold over there, at the palace!

Before taking a step forward, Damien stopped to cover his head with his hoodie cap, parts of his adorably black hair covered some parts of his face and he liked it. His pink glossy lips shine under the room’s brightness as it was captivating.
Oh goodness🤭! Damien is entirely handsome❤️ tonight!
Now as he entered the palace, he was able to testify to the beauty and overwhelming sight of the gigantic buildings in front of him.
The premises were beautifully arranged, red carpet covered the ground, and lightness from the chandelier hung above their head gave the room a pleasure to behold
“Have you been to this palace before?” Caleb also admired the beautiful sight in front of him. Damien let out a cold breath, inserting his two hands into his trousers pocket before saying.
“I don’t wander around.” Caleb once again chuckled after hearing that.
” Why are those journalists staring in our direction?” Damien’s gaze which Caleb followed led him to the part of the building where the journalist was standing, interrogating a man, Damien knew who the man is, but didn’t know he would also be invited to the dinner party.
However, he can’t help but wonder aimlessly. What’s the need for this invitation? Anyone could have eaten their dinner at their different houses, right?
A smirk😏 escaped the corner of his lips after he thought of that. He is crazy like Caleb said.
“They are looking at us, if we continue walking like a bride then I am sure they will come here to have little words with you,” Caleb acknowledged after he looked at the journalist too.
Damien flinched🙄 a little bit after what Caleb said. “They can’t recognize me, I purposely dressed like this to avoid unnecessary attention, I just want to take a picture with that damn of a princess then disappear!” He stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
They both didn’t stop walking and if Damien can still remember, this is the third carpet ground they are stepping on.
The journey to where the dinner party is being held seems like a year to Damien. They’ve been walking straight ahead since they got there and it feels like they are never going to stop walking anytime soon.
What the hell is this!?
“Your hoodie can only cover part of your face, likewise your dress only makes you look like a thug, the journalist recognizes me and without a doubt, I’m sure they are aware that Damien is the cultist walking beside me,” Caleb explained and immediately shifted away from Damien.
Damien acts like a child sometimes which is why Caleb won’t be surprised if Damien slapped his skull even in the public.
After what Caleb said the conversation between them died down, thankfully the journalist didn’t come after them.
Damien let out the breath he’s been holding after they stepped into the last corridor before reaching the hall. Finally, right?
“Guess who’s coming out now!” Caleb squired, his eyes fixed on something before him.
Firstly glancing at Caleb then trailing his eyes to what he was staring at, Damien’s eyes ran into a beautiful soul walking in their direction.
In explanation, she’s indeed beautiful but to Damien, she’s just one of the kinds he hated the most.
Caleb stopped smiling and then say to Damien. “Isn’t the princess so beautiful?” He licked his lower lip seductively.
Taking in her beauty into his eyes, her curvy body was giving him a sight to behold, the more she takes a step further, the more Caleb felt like he would die of nervousness.
The king is really lucky to have this goddess as his daughter.
He heard that the princesses are identical twins and that just made his lips murmured; Wow!
When Caleb eventually looked back at Damien, Damien started thinking of something mischievous on his head, he rubbed his beard lightly, his eyes set on the red carpet, and his brain processing the result of whatever he was thinking currently on his mind.
“Are you okay?” Caleb asked after examining him for a while. Well, he doesn’t look okay, rather he looks disturbed.
Instead of answering, Damien pushed his phone into Caleb’s hand quickly, he looked damn serious right now with the expression on his face, and this made Caleb wonder what he is suddenly up to.
However, Damien looks at the princess who was still coming. This is just one of the princesses, right? The other princess isn’t here but something can be done quickly, right?
“I want to fulfill my reason for coming here,” Damien told to Caleb as he increased his steps.
Caleb muttered what Damien said incoherently before asking. “Your reason for coming here? What are you up to?” Caleb inquired while trying to meet up with Damien. His steps are too fast for his liking.
“I can’t speak to the princess, I will get irritated, but I can at least do something for Annabel.” Damien started speaking.
“You watch how I purposely bump into the princess, make sure to keep my phone’s camera at an appropriate position, and take three snaps of us once I bump into her! Just three snaps!” Damien rushed his words in nothing, but a shaky voice.

When Caleb finally understood what Damien was up to he could only glare shockingly at him.
“Don’t do that! I will call the princess to take pictures with you myself,” Caleb warned but it was already too late, Damien made up his mind already.
“Stop ranting and concentrate, I didn’t ask for your help and if you don’t do this Caleb, I swear you won’t love to imagine what I can do to you!” Damien stated in a factual tone.
He was just only a few steps away from the princess who was coming together with her servants around her.
One wouldn’t have known if you haven’t met with the princess before that she’s the princess.
She’s only dressed in a simple flowery tight gown that barely covers her knee, packing her hair up into a ponytail.
Presently she looks nothing like a princess but just an adorable model, who’s on an outing with her friends.
She looks really simple and acknowledged able, she was busy grinning from here to there while speaking with her servants, and Caleb couldn’t just help but admire her
Taking her steps slowly, with her presence screamed like royalty to everyone witnessing her presence.
Caleb’s hand shook a little bit as he held the phone firmly in his hand. He doesn’t want to see another side of Damien by failing to do what he says. But who cunningly takes a picture in such a crazy way?
Damien is three steps ahead of Caleb then ten steps closer to the princess. Caleb’s anxious mind wondered how Damien will carry out his plan, now he’s regretting not speaking to Annabel earlier by not asking Damien to take pictures with the princess but who knows?

Who knows that a crazy idea such as this will crawl into Damien’s mind after sighting the princess!

Caleb doesn’t know when he’s been thinking but the next time he looked at Damien he was already close to the princess. Caleb watched how Damien intentionally stumbled and immediately he pointed the phone’s camera at them.
Damien stumbled forward and bumped into the princess way, she almost fell backward when Damien quickly caught her wrist.
Caleb stood there taking their pictures non-stop😂.
That fool😆 was only asked to take only three snaps, but he sure has filled in the memory with more than fifty pictures🤭.
He doesn’t care how many he takes, let him just have pictures to show Damien after he’s done staging his madness.
Caleb eventually stopped taking their pictures after a minute has passed, he walked closer to them, and he saw how Damien Immediately acted innocent after helping the princess who was staring absent-mindedly at him stand properly.
Since his hoodie cap has removed when he tried to save her from falling. Her eyes flashed in nervousness and her heart unintendedly skipped beats when Damien said in a deceived calm tone which took him so much to a frame-up.
“Sorry that I bumped into you!” He forcefully said. Nothing was in his mind more than the irritation of touching this kind of gender, but his stomach grumbled in satisfaction.
He has fulfilled Annabel’s request!
He would bathe himself with acid😂 once he gets home! A woman’s body just came in contact with him!
‘What a bad day for him!’ His heart pounded on his chest with irritation.
