Chapter 56

Frederick

I felt little snores coming from her and my l-ips curled into a warm smile.

You don’t know what you are capable of doing.

I, Frederick Anderson, whom no one can think to mess up with, you get angry on me so easily and made me obey you!!

I wish I can explain to you that I care for you so much.

I sighed and pecked her forehead.

Once again a smile made it’s way to my l-ips looking at her rose petals swollen l-ips

She is mine.

I leaned over her and pecked them again with full right.

“Frederick tie my hair. They are tickling me all over.” Ivy whined throwing her hands in air.

She just came back after taking shower with a nurse.

I moved towards her and started combing her hair.

“Done” I said after braiding her hair.

“Let me look at it. But how will I look at it when I don’t have eyes at my back.” She sadly.

I looked at her in amusement and smacked her head.

” Idiot!!”

“Ouch!!” She whined.

“Bring me a mirror.” She said.

“There is not”

“Now how will I look at my hairstyle” she pouted ready to cry.

“Drama queen!!” I said amusingly.

“Here” I said opening front camera of my mobile.

“Wow” she smiled widely.

” How do you know about braiding hair?” She asked touching her hair.

“I used to braid my mother hair.”

“Wow”

“Give me my phone back” I stretched my palm.

” No. Let’s take a selfie first.”

She took my arm and pulled me towards her and made a victory sign with her fingers and clicked it.

I got to know today how much crazy girls get when it comes to pictures.

After taking more than 100 selfies she gave my phone back to me.

“Too much thanks!!!” I said rolling my eyes.

” Your welcome” She said flipping her braid at back like it was her phone.

I shoke my head anď opened my whatsapp to message Michael.

“What?” I scre-med when my eyes landed on Ronald’s chat.

There were recent selfies of mine and Ivy with the #scenesinhospital.

I was feeling like pulling my hair out at her antics.

“This girl…” I looked at her ready to shout but put my l-ips together looking at her who was sleeping innocently.

I sighed and went back to couch.

It was a peaceful evening.

I was looking out from the window while Ivy was playing a game on my laptop.

My laptop?

Yeah you must be shocked to hear this because no one I repeat no one dare to touch my laptop but she!!

Again coming back to her then I don’t know but her eyes have power to melt my heart.

When she asked for playing games on my laptop with smiling l-ips, mad appealing eyes…I couldn’t do anything but gave her my laptop.

Just then my room door burst opened bringing me out of my trance of thoughts revealing Michael.

“Micheaaaaallllllll” Ivy yelled excitedly stretching her arms in the air.

“Ivy” He smiled running towards her and hugged her.

“I missed you” He said while pinching her cheek.

“I missed you toooo!” She smiled.

“I am here too I guess” I said bitterly.

“Hy to you too” Michael said still looking at Ivy.

My mouth fell opened.

Later they both started playing some childish games like subway surf and many others.

I took my laptop and put it on charging.

“Playing without me” Ronald ran in.

I smirked and put my foot in mid making him fall.

“You are such a disaster”/He whined.

“Wow!! What an entry Ronald.” Micheal said and Ivy burst in to laughter.

“Shut up!!” Ronald said making faces.

“By the eay what is my innocent eyes are seeing” He said drmatically after some moments.

I face Palmed myself because i knew what he was talking about.

“I am going to buy her medicines.” I quickly stood up and was about to go out when Ronald held my arm.

“Where are you going? What is the fun without you?” He said smirking.

I glared at him while he ignored.

“Presenting you Mr. And Mrs. Frederick Anderson” He said dramatically displaying the pictures which Ivy sent to him in the afternoon.

I averted my gaze while Ivy smiled.

“Wow… What is this ?” Ronald asked amusingly.

“Why are you blind?can’t you see?” Ronald said in his usual tone.

“I meant that how did this happen and Frederick you sent them to this donkey and that too with hashtag.” Micheal said laughing.

“I didn’t send them. Ivy did” I said rolling my eyes.

“O my! love is in the air” Ronald squealed.

“Corona is in the air”
I punched his back making him winced.

“Ouch. Whether I get the corona virus or not but I will surely die by your punches one day.”

“My liver came in my mouth”

I looked at him who whinning dramatically and left the room because I knew this craziness won’t stop and I surely didn’t want to be the victim of their idiotic stunt.

Chapter 57

Frederick

It has been a week since Ivy have being in the hospital.

Her wound haven’t healed yet and I didn’t want to take any risk so I didn’t try to take her home.

Well, Believe me!

It has been too difficult to handle her.

She is just like a kid.

Always stubborn and whiny.

“Ivy, Come on take your medicines” I said sternly.

“No. I am told you to sing a song for me since but you are ignoring me. Do you know how many times Leo sang for Eva?”
She said making faces.

This is her new tantrum for me to sing a song for her and she is stuck on it.

“Alright!! I will show you something if you take your medinice.” I sighed.

“Really?” She said excitedly.

” Yes!”

“Promise me first because you back out so easily every time.”She said seriously.

“Alright my Queen. I am promising now open your mouth.”

She smiled and opened her mouth.

After giving her medicine I asked her to close her eyes and took my guitar from behind the sofa.

I bought this guitar years ago but played too little.

I know how much of a music freak she is so I brought it here.

“Woahhh!!” She squealed looking at guitar.

“Is it yours?”

She asked excitedly and I hummed.

” Will you play? For me?”

“Only if you promise to eat your food and medicines without drama.”

“Okay okay I promise!!”

“Okay then!!” I took the guitar from her.

“Let me get you on wheel chair. We can’t play music here. You know there are patients all over here. Let’s go to the children ward. They will also be happy.” I smiled.

” No I don’t want to get on a wheel chair.”

” Why?”

“Take me in your arms” She said throwing her hands in the air.

This girl!

I sighed and scooped her in my arms hanging my guitar on my back and stepped out.

“Frederick” she said looking here and there.

” Why were we here? In this department?” She asked and my feet froze.

“Answer? What exactly happened to me?”she said panicking.

“Its nothing!! Actually there was no other empty room so they shifted you here. “I composed myself quickly and answered her plastering a smile on my l-ips.

She mouthed an ‘oh’ and again started gazing here and there.

“So we are here” I said making her sit on one of the bed.

“Sir look this child is not taking his medicine.” A nurse whined looking at me.

I smiled at that child who was sitting with a swollen cheeks.

” Why is my champ not taking his medicine?” I asked pinching his nose.

“I am so bored here.” He whined.

“What is this?” He asked pointing at the guitar.

“It is a musical instrument. I will play if you take your medicine.”

“Okay” He smiled brightly.

Within a moment many children gathered around Ivy and I cheering and smiling.

It seems to be the best moment when you know that the other one is smiling because of you and that was what I was feeling at that time looking at all those breathtaking smiles.

I cleared my throat and touched the strings of guitar.

As a result a melodious tune rang in the room.

I joined the tune murmuring lyrics.

I smiled touching my nose with Ivy’s.

“Yeyyyyy!!!!” All the children burst into cheers and claps.

“That was great!!” Ivy shouted excitedly.

“Thank you!!” I smiled back pinching her cheek.

Later Ivy played with children passing the pillow and did crazy dares while I sat on the side looking at my dearest and cute wife.

I was regretting why the hell I never tried to look at this side of her.

I looked through the window and saw the sun which was about to set.

“Ivy let’s go now” I said standing up.

“Okay”she nodded and k-ssed the cheek of one of my boy sitting in her lap.

“Aunty” He called upon her.

” Yes sweetheart!!”

“k-ss uncle too” He said pointing at me.

” No no I am okay” I said quickly.

” Look he is good without it.” Ivy shrugged.

” No No. Please aunty, Please” One by one all the other children joined him.

“He is so good that he brought you here and also sang such a beautiful song.” One of the girls said.

Ivy looked at me and I nodded bending to her level.

I turned my face other side giving her full access to my cheek.

She giggled before putting her soft rosey l-ips on my cheeks.

“Yeyyy!!!” The children shouted.

“Bye”

I scooped Ivy again in my arms because madam didn’t want to get on a wheel chair.

“Frederick” After some moments of silence she said.

” Yes?”
