~Ivy’s POV~

I kept tossing and turning thinking of who really wanna have me dead.
The thought gave me goosebumps. What harm have I done that someone want me dead.
I couldn’t sleep, so I sat on my but take the jug from the table and pour it in the glass that was close to the Jug.
I gulped it down. I decided to give Eugenia a call again.
📞Hello, she said.
📞 Eugenia am having hærd time sleeping coz am thinking of who want to kill me. Who do you think can do this to me? I stated.
📞I dunno, maybe you have some enemy who as be planning you for a long time,do you perhaps offend anyone.
📞No I didn’t, who will harbour hatred against me, have done no one any wrong, I blunted out.
📞 Maybe someone, but you should be extremely careful and able detect every move, she adviced.
📞Yeah, Andrea as involve the cops, I replied.

📞Oh oh, I see, that good and the right thing to do. Am sure the cops with bring out the unknown killer, she replied.
📞You need to rest and I too,she pointed out.
📞I can’t sleep am having an hærd time to sleep like I said earlier.
📞 You shouldn’t let this trouble you. The killer will be found and he or she will face the law.
📞Okay, I feel better talking to you. I’m happy to have you as a friend.

I ended the call and went under the duvet. I delibrately don’t want to tell her that Andrea suspect her of being killer , she might get hurt if she hears that, I close my eyes trying to catch some sleep, but the sleep didn’t not come.
Why am I having difficulty to sleep. I sat up and gave Andrea a call.
Maybe if I talk to him, I might feel much better.

~Eugenia’s POV~

Don’t worry Ivy am gonna end this your thinking very soon.
Am not gonna give you time to think. I lay on my bed thinking of the next move to kill her.
I have to act fast and get her killed. But I remembered what Ivy said ‘Andrea as involve the cops.
My heart beated when I heard that. I’ve to make a clean move.
I was about sleep when my phone beeped.
I pick it up and saw that Derek text me, I rolled my eyes at the text.
” How are you doing dear,hope you’re much better, am gonna check on you tomorrow” that was the context of the msg.

I throw my phone on the table, why can’t he just forget about me coz am not gonna have any relationsh¡p with him, I love only Andrea and am gonna get him to myself.
I pick the phone and replied him..
” Don’t bother too much about me, I can take care of myself ”

Minutes later my phone beeped.
” Okay, have a good night rest, thank goodness you are much better” that was the context of the message, I roll my eyes away.
But I can’t help but feel awe for him.
He respect my every wish, but I can’t return the feeling, am sorry Derek find another woman.
I place my phone aside, still thinking of how to kill Ivy. Suddenly and idea came to my head and I smirked at the thought.

#The_next_day.

Today day was Saturday. I drove my car to Ivy’s home, I didn’t go him. I just wait outside, but hide myself. So I couldn’t be seen.
Ivy came out after a while and I let her drive I followed her.
I was thinking of what to do. Why am I following her. I’ve plans.

I gave her a call while she drive.
📞Hello Eugenia, what’s sup, am driving now do you mind calling me later, she said.
📞 Ivy help me, am in a bring trouble please come to Marietta pre nursery school…. Please hurry, I scre-m and ended the call.

Ivy is so naive, she won’t even bother knowing the reason am there. She will rush there and I’ll take my move.
My car was at of sight and I caught Ivy driving her car towards the direction of the pre school. The car tyres made a screech noise on the floor, showing she’s panicking.
I decided to take a shortcut to the school. But why driving I feared she might call Andrea to come along.
Gosh, why did I not think about it. I decided to call her again.
” Ivy please hurry, don’t call anyone… Please just come ” I said and scre-m and ended the call.

Ivy won’t bother think of why I said she shouldn’t call anyone. I know her coz I’ve played many prank at her since childhood and she was fall into it, that what she’s doing now.
But if she eventually called Andrea then I won’t operate
~Ivy’s POV~

I was about giving Andrea a call when Eugenia called again, telling me not to call anyone.
I don’t know why she said that,I’ll just go there myself.

The pre_school was an abandon old school. Why is she there.
I got to the school and alighted. I hurried into the school and scanned every where outside and in,side.
I later scre-med Eugenia’s name.
“Eugenia “I called severally, but no answer.
The thought of what might have happened to her was giving me cramps.

~Eugenia’s POV~

I arrive here. But Ivy was already here. I wonder what speed she use in getting here. She is super fast, and for the fact I took a shortcut.
I first scanned the street if Andrea was coming. But they was no sight of Andrea’s car, I waited a little and they wasn’t any sight of his car..
So I packed my car somewhere else and alighted with a gun in my hand.
I bought the gun from a guy everyone call a gangster. It wasn’t easy, but I call only purchase a illegal gun.

~Ivy’s POV~

“At your back” I heard Eugenia voice.
I turn back and was dumbfounded on what I saw.
She was pointing a gun at me.
” Now you are gonna die ” she stated, and was more shock than before.

~Andrea’s POV~

I was at the back of my home. In a little shade.
I sat down.
I received a call 📲. I pick my phone from the table and answered it.
It was Flynn. I immediately answered it.
” Hello sir, I have some bad news. I saw ms Eugenia alighting from her car with gun in her hands ” he stated.
” What!!!, where ” I exclaimed, instantly alert.
” She went into old Marietta preschool and I sense something bad ” He said.
” I’ll try going closer to see who she wanna kill and get back to you ” he said.
“Okay, I’ll be right there. But be extremely careful, she shouldn’t see you ” I stated.
” Okay sir ” he replied and end the call.

I knew Eugenia was dangerous. Who exactly do she wanna kill.
If anything happens to Ivy, I won’t spare her.
‘Crazy bitch ‘ I cussed as I ran to my car. I hopped in.
I drove and the gate open up for me. I drove as fast as I can to the location.
I was only half way on the road when Flynn called me again.
I answered the call while I drive.
” Sir, you were right, she really wanna kill ms Ivy. She is pointing a gun 🔫 at her, but as not fire the trigger yet” he blunted out.
” Jeez!! If anything happens to Ivy, I won’t spare that bitch. She will pay and……
I was about telling him to do something, for him to prevent Eugenia from killing Ivy.

But the call got disconnected.
I threw the damn phone away, don’t care the direction the phone went.
” Damn, good damn, f-ck, shit ” I cussed coz I was frustrated at the same time scared of what will happen.
” I swear, I’ll make that obsessed bitch pay, if anything happens to my Ivy ” I said between gritted teeth.
My facial expression was lacing with fear and anger.

~Ivy’s POV~

I can’t believe Eugenia as being the one trying to kill me, all this while I thought some enemy of mine was the one trying to kill me.
Andrea was right all along.
I couldn’t believe my best friend, the friend I love so much, the friend I share things in common with, is the one trying to eliminate me.
” Why ” I found myself saying, with tears streaming down my face.
She was still pointing the gun on my head, some kilometers away.
she only smirked for a reply.
” Why!!!!!!!!!? I roared, my voice was shaking.
” You turn me into this f-cking monster,you took the man I loved and you think you can go Scot free” she fired back, still pointing her gun.
” I thought you were okay with it” I sniff.
” No I wasn’t okay with it. I only pretend to be okay with it coz I don’t want anyone suspect me of being your killer” She blunted out viciously.
” You have becoming something else. If you want Andrea I would’ve giving him to you. I never wanted to have anything to do with him, but you said it’s okay. And for goodness sake you can not force someone to love you” I stated.
” I’m gonna have him to myself ” she fired.

” I can’t believe you’ve become so wicked that you can kill your long time friend coz you are…. Sorry to say, you’re obsessed” I fired back.
She smirked again…..
” Do I deserve this….. to be hurt and you should be the one happy ” She said.
” Nope, you deserve a much better life than this. The very man that can give you what you really want. There is still time, where is your humanity” I said sarcastically.
“Am still gonna kill you” she roared.
” Why haven’t you fire the trigger, since you so eager to kill me. Why haven’t you fired the trigger already…. let me answer it coz you can’t kill me coz we are friend for so long ”
” This is what make you so stupid. Why being naive. I have tried killing you twice and this is the third time ” She barked.
I let out a grin and shook my head.
” You can’t kill me, when am in front of you coz if there wasn’t any sense of humanity in you, you would’ve fired it, a long time ago ” I answered.
“Am still gonna kill you ” She roared and set the gun properly.

“Not so fast ” we both heard a voice.
It was a man, he came out of no where.
“I got you recorded. If you kill her, you will have to face the law” he announce and Eugenia was taking aback.
Just then Andrea came. He ran towards me and pull me into a tight hug.
After a while he disengage from the hug and turn to Eugenia furiously.
” How dare you. I’ll make sure you pay for you sins. Your game tactics are up ” Andrea roared.
I couldn’t say anything. I gaze at Eugenia who was tearing up.
“I love you Andrea and….
” How can a woman like you love someone, when you wanna kill your best friend who you loved, obviously if something goes wrong with me you will still kill me ” he fired.
” Andrea please I just love you. I want you ” She said tearing up.
” Why can’t you understand that I don’t love you and I’ll never love you. You think by you killing the woman I love, I’ll start loving you ” he said with sarcasm.

Eugenia did say anything but start crying. i felt pity for her.
She just an unfortunate lover.
” And sure you’ll pay for you crimes ” he muttered.
“I haven’t call the cops now, but I’ll” he stated.
” No Andrea don’t ” I rebuked.

He turn to me looking surprise.
” And why she tried to kill you and I shouldn’t call the cops ”
” Andrea she isn’t in her right mind and…
” stop being naive. I know she as being your friend for long, but this is the real her ” he explained.
I look at Eugenia and my eyes almost poke out of the socket when I saw Eugenia pointing the gun at her head.
I gasped.
” What are you doing ” I yelled.
” Stop this madness, why trying to kill yourself, this won’t help ” I pointed out nervously.
“I really don’t wanna live any more ” she fired back with shaking voice.
She was about pulling the trigger as she closed her eyes.
“Noooo, don’t ” I yelled.

“💥 Boom ” was the sound I heard and I struggled to find breath.
