Chapter Fifty Nine:
Zoe
” I won’t be able to save time for you ” Sonia complained while I dress in the warriors armor even tho it’s pretty heavy for me to lift ” milady you aren’t listening to me ”
” Sonia” turning around I place my both hands on her shoulder ” I feel more alive fighting Sonia, I dont need more training. I want to fight, won’t you help me fulfill that wish ”
” ma….” Placing my finger on her l-ips I shut her up ” I have to go Sonia, save time for me ” I have to meet this Mr hell to undo this spell he has on me
I have to stop thinking about him, is like he keep living in my head even when am eating, am also thinking about him. Stepping into the woods, today I have no desire to fight, I quietly move to my left, out of the group of warriors deep into the forest where I first met Mr hell
I quickly take off this load off my body then look around, I must be nuts to think that he will show up here, he might have forget I even exist, it might just be a normal k-ss a stranger to him
Sitting on the rock I place my head on my hands listening to the sounds of cries, metal. They are killing each other again, day after day this keep happening and am left Wondering why
I should go and help my people, I should go and fight but am suddenly tired of all these or maybe not seeing Mr hell today made me a little weak, somehow I was excited to see those silver eyes
I dont understand what’s happening to me ” Zoe??” I quickly stand up and turn around, my excited face turn to a furrow of brows ” Fred?? What are you doing here ”
” I saw you so I followed” he proceeded in sitting on the rock ” are you okay, you look worried?”
” am fine ” I quickly said, thank god Mr hell isn’t here or else Fred will think something else, a descendant meeting a knight, I watch Fred rise to his feet suddenly frowning and I know something or someone is behind me ” isn’t it my lowly brother ”
Turning around hell stood there, hands shove in his jean trousers while the black top hug him tight, all those muscles on show, he look pretty pissed right now ” if it isn’t Fred”
If I heard correctly Fred called Hell his brother which means this is the half brother he was talking about ” you want to steal my mate for the second time??”
” she has always been mine ” hell step closer ” and is still mine, get that shit into your damn skull”
” not this time Ares, Zoe is mine and I will keep it that way ” Fred gro-n and I frown, have they been talking about me?? ” Zoe let’s go ” he straightforward his hands
” little mouse ” hell straightforward his hands too and am left to choose, I blink my eyes in confusion, who should I go to, Fred isn’t our enemies, going with him will mean no harm
I take two steps towards Fred then stop, Mr hell looks so emotionless that I always want to push the button to see what part of his body will get warm rather than being cold
Turning around I found myself walking towards Mr hell and for once his face turn into a smile, a smile that reach his face, the moment our hands touch each other we disappear, disappear into thin air
Ares
I sit next to Zoe bed and watch her sleep, its been awhile, awhile I have seen my little mouse sleeping peacefully in my view ” ice cream” she muttered rolling to her right then lick her l-ips. My memory move to the night of the ball that she fell on my hands
That day she said she has blood phobia, blood makes her unconscious but now she can kill without feeling anyway, my fragile Zoe is truly gone
She sit up, rob her eyes, yawn and stretch her body before our gaze meet, she stayed still for awhile and when its like she remember what happen her eyes w¡den, face flush ” th..that doesn’t mean I like you ” placing my head lazily on my hand I stare at her
She might be strong now but still childish in some way ” little mouse ” her gaze meet mine again ” I love you ” it felt like time stand still as air swirl around us, her gaze didn’t shift from mine, she look shock and confuse
Am not good at wining people heart, all I can keep saying is my feelings, I expect her to yell, stand, walk away but she did no such thing ” I dont know you ” was all that left her l-ips, her face still red
” then get to know ” I muttered ” let me take good care of you little mouse” sitting on the bed i tuck her hair behind her ear, she might have forgotten about me but her feelings are still there. Probably the reason she choose to come with me instead of Fred
” am a descendant, you’re a knight. This is wrong ” her voice shaky as my face is close to hers, I just can’t stay without touching her. I have been starved for five weeks ” I think you are putting me in some sort of spell, I need you to cancel it ”
” spell??” I furrow my brows at her ” what spell are you talking about ” I could feel her breath on my face due to our closeness
” I can’t stop thinking about you and that k-ss” she bit her l-ips as the words left her mouth ” then let me k-ss you again darling” I rob her lower lip ” let me show you how right we can be for each other, let me make you feel wonders ”
” I can’t say no to that ” the moment those words felt her mouth I crush my l-ips on hers hungrily to show her how starved I have been, how starved she has left me
” Ares” she mo-n my name again before k-ssing me back with the same intensity

Chapter Sixty :
Zoe
Breaking the k-ss my l-ips feel so swollen, his gaze still on me like he want to k-ss me all over again ” hi” I said since nothing else came to my mind, his l-ips curve to a smile before he lay down, over his eyes and laugh, I have no idea why he is laughing
Averting my gaze from him I look at the room, strangely this doesn’t feel like the first time am coming here, I have this feeling of home all over which is defiantly wrong because this is the first time am here
Standing to my feet I look around the room, a mouse toy caught my attention, a little mouse. Is that why he calls me that, this is so strange
The door open slowly revealing a man in butler uniform ” Sir, madam, dinner is ready ” I stare at hell as he wave his hand dismissing the butler ” come little mouse ” he rise to feet, hold my hand and I follow behind him
The wh0le place really huge, I look down the hall, different rooms ” your place is wow” I said, he just nod his head then say nothing else
Walking down the stairs I look at the living room then the dining room, two boys around sitted there, the one with the blue hair caught my attention, the same person that run from the battle field ” Zoe!!!” The oder man jump to his feet and hug me ” oh Zoe is back to us ” he sound really happy, have I been living here
” I dont know you ” he withdraw, hold his chest before holding the chair for support ” sorry??” I said confused, all this is confusing
Mr hell proceeded in sitting ” come ” he muttered tapping a seat I should sit which I do so ” hi am Zar and this is my brother xar. We are hell….”
” friends??” I said but they shake their head ” more like fight buddies ” we all started eating and what I discover is. Zar is a little cold and friendly, Xar is the jovial type but Mr hell is extremely cold that am left thinking if he has a heart
But then he told me he loves me, my cheek is growing red all over again ” are you okay ” I nod my head before shoving the fried rice in my mouth to keep all these irrational thoughts away
As time pass by Zar and Xar left leaving Mr hell here alone with me, my heart beat keep increasing as the silence grow, I had no idea what I should say to him ” little mouse ”
” Mmm” looking at him I swallow, the sudden urge to run my hands through his hair, that blond, lifting my hands I burry them into, so soft ” you do know you’re sitting on my lap right” huh?? When did I get on his lap, oh my god
The moment I try standing his hands tighten on my wa-ist stopping me from moving, my hands slowly lower to his chest, I have been meaning to touch him here, he is so built, how is that even possible, unbuttoning his shirt I finally get a good look at the abs and the chest ” darling, what are you doing ” his voice is suddenly husky
When my gaze meet his, my face turn completely red, I completely forgot that this can be regarded as s€×ual harassment ” so…so…sorry ” I stammer when I felt something poking me, did I make him hærd
He run his hands through his hair and his face feeling frustrated ” you’re back to being unripe, shit I won’t wait till you remember before I f-ck you okay ” remember??? Remember what exactly ” I want to mark you as soon as possible”
I blink my eyes at his words, marking me will make me his mate for life, do I really want to stay with this knight for the rest of my life ” you can’t mark me ” I sound angry but I didn’t mean it to come out this way, getting off his lap I made way to the door ” am leaving ”
” little mouse, wait” he hold my hand ” please stop, I didn’t mean what I said, I was thinking aloud ”
” why will you even think to mark me, I dont feel anything for you, I dont know why I haven’t even disappear from here, I dont know why I came with you ” am yelling at him ” but am sure of one thing, I hate you, I have been trained to kill you and two k-ss won’t change anything ” hurt flash through those eyes, those silver eyes I have come to like
He let go of my hands and I suddenly feel cold ” you’re right Zoe ” he chuckle ” what was I even thinking trying to make you mine, the only reason you loved me before is because you taught I was human but now you have seen how many people I have killed, I know you will hate me, am no good am I??”
I said nothing we just stood starring at each other ” dont forget one thing Zoe, I love you and I think I will always do ” he hit his chest ” I wish I can get rid of this feeling you know, you made me feel this way and now you are leaving me, you taught me how to love and now you hate me ” a tear actually drop his eyes ” why can’t I get anything good in this life, you tell me ”
” I….I ” am left speechless, he keeps talking like we have met before ” how can I teach you how to love when I dont even know you that well ”
He step back ” go Zoe, go and prepare for the final war, they is no more to this ” he flash me one last glance ” because I will kill your people ”
” and I will kill you if you try anything ” the words came out of my mouth without me knowing it, he nod his head then smile
” I know you will darling ” he actually smile before walking upstairs, my heart hurt so much, why?? Why am I feeling hurt for him, why am I feeling this way
Do I really know him, holding my chest I sit on the couch, it hurts so much
